Community Resource Events

We host community resource events to share resources with people with low-income.

We partner with organizations that are connected to the community so that we can reach people in need.

Volunteering

We help out at volunteer events to give free food, clothes, and other community service events. We provide a list of nonprofit organizations that host volunteer events, both in-person and online.

Timeline

We participated in the LARS Community Resource and Grocery Giveaway event for the 3rd year in a row! We listened to people’s issues and shared community resources, while volunteers gave grocery bags to families.

We went back to volunteer at the Mobile Markets at Universities at Shady grove, and this time they set up a table for us to share community members! We helped with check-in, distribute fresh produce, and other items.

We attended the MELLFIN event at University of Maryland, where various school and nonprofits collaborated on ways to help people learn English. Several schools invited us to share resources with their students, and these wonderful Korean women designed designed fans by customizing names.

What We Do

We empower individuals through hosting events to help people register to vote, complete applications for assistance with utilities, health insurance, employment, and other social services. Our goal is to reduce poverty by helping people with low incomes to address their immediate needs and the root causes of their issues through our community resource network and individualized case management.
